Qualification requirements:
students of MASTER'S DEGREE PROFESSIONAL:
1- Having completed all the credits required for the course, according to the catalog in effect in the year of entry; and Proficiency in at least 1 (one) language.
2- Qualification deadlines: the exam must be taken up to six months before the end of the completion period.
The candidate must request the qualifying exam with 21 (twenty-one) days in advance from the date defined through E-DAC on the DAC Portal.
Attention – the E-DAC (Student Portal) provides the options to save and submit the qualification request. The request is only sent to the registrar's office after click submit. The save option only saves the information already entered and allows the student to make modifications until requested. Please note the 21-day deadline; the system does not accept requests submitted/requested outside of this period.
Ethics Committee:
Before requesting the qualifying exam, the student must indicate the ethics statement option in the E-DAC system. After the option is selected, the thesis advisor must approve the statement. Read.
Research involving human beings must pass through the Ethics Committee before data collection. Information about the Human Research Ethics Committee (CEP).

Composition of the examining committee – Professional Master's Degree:
The qualification panel must be composed, at a minimum, of:
Advisor;
2 full members;
1 substitute member.
Note: All members can be internal or external.
Important:
1. If the external member (primary or alternate) is not found in the E-DAC search, a mini-curriculum vitae must be completed and submitted via the form so that the secretariat can include these members in the E-DAC.
2. If any member is going to participate by video conferenceThe scheduling of videoconferencing rooms at FE is the sole responsibility of the student and their advisor, and must be done at least 30 business days before the qualification date.
