This Friday, March 6, 2026, technical and administrative staff at Unicamp will hold a work stoppage., approved at the category's Assembly and convened by Unicamp Workers' Union (STU).
Due to the strike, some departments at the Faculty of Education at Unicamp may experience changes in service on this date. For the time being, the following departments will be closed to the public:
- Joel Martins Library
- Institutional Communication
- Extension, Events and Special Projects
- ICT
The distance learning team will operate with reduced service, maintaining only pre-scheduled requests and ending evening services earlier. Other departments may operate with reduced staff or dedicate the period to internal work, which may cause changes in service.
We recommend that the academic community check the availability of services at the departments beforehand before going to the unit.
The mobilization is related to the joint agenda of Forum of the SixThe program includes demands such as the payment of retroactive amounts from the "Unfreeze Now" movement, referring to the period of frozen service time during the pandemic, in addition to other demands from the category. Furthermore, the schedule endorses the mobilization for the agenda of the Women's Collective, for the fight against sexual harassment, moral harassment and discrimination, with specific programming throughout the day.
