With the aim of strengthening institutional communication and improving the quality of applications of Visual Identity Manual From the Faculty of Education at Unicamp, the FE-Unicamp Communication team held a training workshop aimed at collaborators, students, teachers, and staff of the unit.
The activity presented, in a practical and interactive way, the main elements of the FE Visual Identity Manual, covering everything from the fundamentals of the logo and color system to guidelines on typography, applications in different materials, and accessibility guidelines. The Institutional Communication team, which also developed the Manual, led the presentations – journalist Erika Blaudt, staff member Giovanna Romaro, intern Laura Magalhães, and students and scholarship recipients Laura Montoro Mattiusso, Laura Santos, and Rayan Rodrigues Silva.

During the workshop, participants were able to explore the digital manual through activities that encouraged navigation and identification of essential information, such as logo usage rules, color combinations, and best practices in the production of institutional materials.
Practical examples of applying the visual identity in different contexts were also presented, such as academic communications, social media posts, and event materials, reinforcing the importance of institutional coherence and the collective construction of an identity that represents the Faculty.
Beyond the technical aspects, the training highlighted the symbolic dimension of the Faculty's visual identity, connecting its graphic elements to its historical trajectory, institutional values, and commitment to public, democratic, and inclusive education.
In this context, the conception of the logo by the then professor Milton José de Almeida was also addressed (in memoriam), a scholar of the Art of Memory and of the Verbal, Visual, and Audiovisual Languages that give form and ideology to Cultural Education, the imagination, and contemporary intelligence. A researcher and creator of artistic videos, Professor Milton coordinated the Audiovisual Studies Laboratory (Olho), integrating art, science, and education as foundations for a visual identity that translates the essence of the Faculty.
For journalist Erika Blaudt, from the Institutional Communication department of the Faculty of Education, who coordinated the project, the initiative goes beyond the correct use of the brand. “The Visual Identity Manual is more than a technical guide—it visually translates the history, values, and public commitment of the Faculty of Education. When we correctly apply this identity, we strengthen not only communication but also institutional recognition and the sense of belonging within our community,” she stated.

The workshop also provided guidance on accessibility in communication, such as the use of appropriate contrast, image description, video captioning, and attention to audience diversity, reinforcing FE's commitment to inclusive communication practices.
Finally, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and received guidance on available materials, including the complete manual, institutional templates, and Communication support channels.
This initiative is part of the FE's Institutional Communication actions aimed at improving communication flows, strengthening internal dialogue, and valuing the Faculty's identity, translated into institutional communication that articulates multiple voices, preserving diversity and ensuring coherence.
