Objective : To introduce educators to the theoretical foundations that underpin Freinet Pedagogy and its pedagogical tools. – To introduce educators to and allow them to experience the pedagogical instruments proposed by Freinet Pedagogy, such as: work workshops, the book of life, free writing and school presses, inter-school correspondence, and wall newspapers, which enable children to experience an autonomous and cooperative educational environment. – To help educators understand the horizontal relationship between teacher and students under the guidance of Freinet principles and experimental exploration.
Target audience : Basic Education professionals, especially those in Early Childhood Education (monitors, caregivers, classroom assistants, teachers, pedagogical advisors, administrators), students of Pedagogy and other teaching degrees.
