The Congregation of the Faculty of Education, at its 404th Ordinary Meeting, held
On June 3, 2026, it was decided to approve the following statement:
"We, the professors, students, and staff of the Faculty of Education at UNICAMP,
We express our full support for the manifesto letter IN DEFENSE OF PUBLIC EDUCATION IN
Campinas Municipal Education Network and the mobilization of teachers and
other education workers in the municipal network of Campinas, who are organizing in defense
of democratic public education and pedagogical autonomy. The network workers denounce
authoritarianism, administrative centralization, and the advancement of privatization and outsourcing policies
from the municipal education network, measures adopted by the current Secretary of Education, Patrícia Adolf.
